Cristiane (Kristy) Young, LMHC

I am a licensed mental health counselor with more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I help people of different ages who are struggling with different issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relational and marital problems, grief, stress and anger management issues, Obsessive compulsive Disorder, ADHD to name a few. I am fluent in English and Portuguese.

My name is Cristiane Young but I go by Kristy. I am a licensed Mental Health counselor. My passion is to be able to assist my clients unfold their potential and live a more fulfilling life. I believe that each person is a universe and that no diagnosis can define or restrict them. Therapy is a journey that we take together. My approach is client centered however I also utilize a psychodynamic approach and several tools from CBT, DBT and EFT to assist them to increase awareness and develop coping skills necessary to better manage life challenges.
