I have worked with people from many different backgrounds, ranging in age from 18-63. The psychodynamic approach is flexible enough for anyone, though fits well for people seeking self-understanding, who is willing to explore underlying causes for their feelings and behaviors, willing to eventually explore parts of themselves they may not initially agree with, and who is open to potentially seeing strengths within themselves that I imagine I will see in you.

I bring an education from the University of Baltimore and a passion for helping people. If you are facing problems in everyday living, emotional conflict, relationship problems, or facing more severe life experiences such as depression or trauma, reach out so we can speak. One benefit of counseling is knowing you are not alone.

I offer individual therapy working with adults. My core approach is psychodynamic which seeks to help you uncover the underlying causes of present issues. It works to increase awareness between the part of ourselves we are not conscious of, and the part of us that we are conscious of. Essentially, my counseling style gently explores your past, to illuminate your present, so you can determine your future.

If you are looking for a more behavioral and solution focused approach, I also offer Exposure Therapy. This is a good fit for phobias and symptoms of OCD. I look forward to building a collaborative relationship with you.
