About me
As a psychotherapist, I work to support people with complicated trauma, medical trauma, attachment and interpersonal trauma, addictions, dissociative disorders, perinatal mental health issues, and disordered eating. I work with all ages and stages.
Being a person is HARD, but we are equipped with the ability to connect, adapt, grow, and make new meanings and associations. Who we are is formed by nature-nurture interactions throughout our lives, and in our sessions we work to uncover and understand how we are shaped by life's experiences. I utilize a variety of therapy approaches, including CBT and DBT skill building, narrative and coherence therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic interventions and movement, EMDR and Integrated EMDR (IEMDR ) for migraine, and Internal Family Systems and parts work. Together we light candles in caves and create new neural pathways to promote healing and wellness.
