About me
I am a certified clinical trauma professional level 2 and a certified grief educator with nine years of experience working with populations of all ages. I specialize in trauma and attachment, anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic illness.
Life can be challenging in so many ways, and it’s not always easy to find the path forward. As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping others navigate those difficult moments with empathy and understanding. With nine years of clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, supporting them through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and relational challenges. I am a certified clinical trauma professional level 2 (CCTP-II) as well as a certified grief educator, trained by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, always rooted in respect, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping clients heal and grow.
In addition to my professional experience, I bring a personal understanding of many of the struggles my clients face. As a mother of four and grandmother of three, a bereaved parent and daughter, and chronic Lyme disease warrior, I’ve experienced and supported loved ones through challenges such as grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, autism, and chronic illness. These experiences have shaped my empathy and strengthened my dedication to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for healing.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, spending time in the outdoors, exercising, and reading. I believe in the power of listening, in creating a space where clients feel seen and heard, and in helping others find the courage to make meaningful changes in their lives. Seeking support is a brave step, and I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward a more fulfilling and joyful life. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your healing process.
