Connie Hernandez, LCSW

I am a graduate of the University of Houston and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a Therapist with a social work background, I really focus on your life as a whole. I aim to work in a solution-focused, strength-based modality with you. I have been in the Mental health field since 2005 and have worked with a variety of populations and diagnoses. People who have endured trauma in their past seem to find me and I support them in their healing. I truly enjoy helping people to heal and become who they are wanting to show up as in their lives. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to work through life's challenges, emotions, stresses, etc.. I feel truly privileged to be allowed to aid others in their time of need and if you are a human, guess what you are currently in a time of need, we all are. I focus on your strengths and aid in seeing different viewpoints, as well as include humor when the time is right. We all need to be heard by an open-minded non-judgemental person who will put us first in our lives. I aim to have my clients leave with knowledge and insight into themselves and have tools to implement in the moment of life's struggles. I hope you leave me with a better sense of self and love who you are more and more.
