About me

Experienced counselor dedicated to helping clients manage perfectionism and burnout.

I work almost exclusively with high-achieving, perfectionistic adults who are tired of chasing the feeling that they are "enough." If you are a people pleaser, someone who struggles with anxiety and telling others no, or feel that your self-worth is directly tied to how much you accomplish, you're not alone—and you're in the right place to address it.

My clients are often the ones everyone else depends on. On the outside they do it all, and do it well, but inside they are unfulfilled and often depressed. Often my clients describe growing up in toxic households and worry about the example they're setting for their own families. Many clients find after experiencing their first panic attack, taken their first leave of absence, or a similar event when anxiety is no longer something we can ignore. My clients are also quick to say they don't feel they have a reason to be unhappy; and guilt can be all consuming for them.

In therapy, we work to quiet the inner critic, set boundaries without guilt, and make space for a life that feels more balanced and meaningful—not just busy. I am an EMDRIA-trained EMDR practitioner with additional trainings and certifications in DBT and trauma-focused CBT. I seamlessly blend empirically researched and proven modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR to identify negative patterns and implement solutions.

My style is warm and engaging; utilizing humor and compassion. Clients describe my approach as friendly but direct. You don't have to keep white-knuckling your way through life. If you're ready to stop living for everyone else's approval and start connecting with who you are—not just what you accomplish—I'd be honored to work with you.
