About me
My name is Cletus (Clete) Deller and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (20 years experience) who started out my professional career as a teacher. As far as approach, I use both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Action and Commitment Therapy, (ACT). I am NOT a Talk Therapist. I like to focus on immediate concrete changes in your life.
I have two Graduate Degrees (an MS in Psychology and Counseling, and an MBA), Post Graduate Certification in Forensic Psychology, and certification as a Sexual Therapist.
I am strongly focused on treating trauma, anxiety, addiction, and Narcissistic and Borderline relationships. I am trained and certified in the evidenced-based scientific treatments for both PTSD and CPTSD, and I have additional certifications in Addiction, Anger Management, Anxiety, Complex Trauma, Grief, Narcissistic Abuse, and Borderline Treatment (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).
I am a not a Christian counselor, but I am a Counselor who is a Christian. What that means is that I can use both scientifically validated approaches to solving all mental health issues, and combine science and spirituality, if requested. The goal is always to craft the right plan, for the person that is seeking help.
I believe you will find me nonjudgemental, empathetic, patient, and understanding. Unlike most other therapists, I have personal experience in my areas of expertise.
Please feel free to find out more about me and my techniques, at my website sciencepsychologyanddeliverance.com. I look forward to working with you.
