About me

Helping children, teens, and adults navigate life's challenges, build confidence, and create meaningful change in a supportive, judgment-free space.

Hi, I'm Clavon! I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and mental health therapist with Family Forward Therapy. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as yourself, feel heard, and talk openly without fear of judgment.

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, ADHD-related concerns, behavioral difficulties, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I'm also passionate about men's mental health and helping individuals feel more comfortable expressing emotions, asking for support, and challenging expectations that may prevent them from seeking help.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I enjoy getting to know the person behind the challenges they're experiencing. I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy to help clients recognize their strengths, explore new perspectives, and develop coping strategies that work for their everyday lives.

I believe therapy is a partnership. I'll listen, ask questions, offer encouragement, and gently challenge you when needed. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work together to identify what matters most to you and take meaningful steps toward your goals.

Whether you're a parent seeking additional support for your child, a young adult adjusting to life's responsibilities, or someone who simply needs a space to process what you're going through, I'd be glad to connect.
