About me
Hi, I’m Claudia, a licensed therapist and social worker who believes therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and genuine. I strive to create a warm, down-to-earth environment where clients can show up exactly as they are without fear of judgment. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered throughout the process. I currently work with teens and young adults up to age 29 helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and everyday life challenges.
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person’s experiences, needs, and goals are different, which is why I tailor therapy to each individual client. I draw from several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Together, we work to better understand patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels realistic and supportive. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered while building tools they can carry with them long after therapy.
I value creating authentic connections with my clients and believe therapy works best when we work together as a team. And as an animal lover, don’t be surprised if you occasionally hear dog tags jingling or spot a curious cat tail during virtual sessions.
