About me
My name is Claudia Covarrubias, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in San Diego, California working with clients statewide via telehealth. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples. Some of my specialties include depression, anxiety & stress, self-esteem, trauma, communication & intimacy issues, and difficult life transitions. I am also bilingual and provide services in Spanish.
I aim to help clients understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how these may be impacting their well-being. I strive to support clients in identifying and working towards their goals, making positive changes, and developing healthier coping mechanisms. I create a supportive and empathetic space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated. Together we will work to cultivate a positive self-image, build self-confidence, and foster self-compassion.
