About me
I’m a therapist who helps people gently work through trauma that often shows up as anxiety, depression, and feeling stuck.
If I had a magic wand, I would want people’s trauma to truly heal, because so much of what we struggle with starts there. When we’re able to look inward and work through the experiences that hurt us, made us feel small, or left us believing we’re not good enough, something shifts. We stop moving through life on autopilot. Depression begins to lift, anxiety softens, and we feel more at ease within ourselves. So many of our struggles, including conflict with partners, children, family, or coworkers, come from deeper emotional experiences where we’ve felt unseen, afraid, or hurt. This can show up as overthinking, shutting down, or reacting in ways you later regret. I believe that when we begin to heal these deeper experiences, not only do our lives change, but the world around us becomes calmer and more connected.
I work with people who are high functioning but feel overwhelmed, especially those struggling with trauma, anxiety, and relationship patterns. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they can’t fully explain, even though they are capable and doing their best to keep everything together.
I understand that opening up to another person can feel scary and vulnerable. That’s why I approach therapy with warmth and patience, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. There is no pressure to rush or go anywhere before you’re ready. I create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore what’s coming up without fear of judgment. My role is to gently guide and support you as you begin to understand yourself in a deeper way.
I draw from multiple approaches in my work, including EMDR, CBT, IFS, and DBT. Each person is different, so therapy is never one size fits all. Together, we will shape our sessions around what you need, whether that’s processing past experiences, building coping skills, or understanding patterns in your life. I focus on using the approaches that feel most helpful and meaningful to you.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you as you take the next step toward feeling more grounded, more connected, and more like yourself.
