About me
I am an experienced licensed mental health counselor and EMDR clinician who is dedicated to helping teens and adults heal from past trauma, cope with difficult transitions in life, and build a healthier relationship with themselves. I own a group therapy practice comprised of several advanced clinicians with specialties in different areas of mental health.
I am a mental health counselor licensed in both NY and NC. I utilize an eclectic model, meaning that I draw from different theoretical orientations in order to best match your needs. I am certified in EMDR and use this modality with many of my clients. I also often incorporate cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic theories.
The clinicians in my practice specialize in an array of areas, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, eating disorders, substance use/abuse, chronic pain and illness, trauma, complex trauma, and vocational concerns. At Healing & Growth Counseling, we believe in pairing each client with the best fit clinician so that you can identify and achieve your goals. We believe in individualized care, tailoring our approaches to each individual that we meet with. Our practice provides both in person and telehealth services in New York, and telehealth services in Florida.
When we first meet, we will take some time to get to know one another, exploring your concerns and developing a plan containing goals of what you would like to see change. We will then
