About me
Hi, I’m Cindy, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I work with ages 12 and up who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, daily stressors, relationship issues, borderline personality disorder, body image concerns, stress management, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and centered on helping you feel comfortable and supported. I meet you exactly where you are. Some days you may feel ready to share openly and other days you may need more guidance, and both are completely okay. I use gentle psychoeducation to help you understand what is happening in your mind and body while offering new perspectives when unhelpful thoughts come up. Together, we build a personalized toolbox of skills that helps life feel more manageable. In our first sessions, we explore your story, your goals, and what you have been experiencing to create a plan that truly fits you.
I use an eclectic, personalized approach because everyone’s journey is unique. We’ll work together to find what truly supports you and move toward your goals at a pace that feels gentle and comfortable. Whether you’re ready to begin or just exploring therapy, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
