About me
Hi, my name is Cindy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. I use a combination of therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s unique needs and goals. Research shows that our thoughts influence the chemicals our brain releases, which in turn affect how we feel and behave. Positive thoughts can help us feel motivated, calm, and hopeful, while negative thoughts can contribute to anxiety, depression, anger, and emotional distress. When left unchecked, automatic negative thoughts can impact overall well-being and reduce quality of life. I work with clients to identify and challenge unhealthy thinking patterns, helping them develop healthier, more empowering ways of thinking.
I work with adults and seniors with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, emotional disturbances, low self-esteem, and difficulties with coping skills. I also support clients navigating relationship issues, as well as women’s issues. provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel heard.
