About me
Dr. Chudi Obijekwu, is a mental health and substance abuse professional who from time immemorial had served the mainstream Americans, Asians Americans, African Americans, Hispanics / Latinos, American Natives and Alaskan natives, and Native Hawaiians. At A-Plus Counseling, we are dedicated to helping men and women of all ages cope with depression, anxiety, grief & loss, trauma, and all aspects of mental illness and substance disorder issues, including assistance with SAP and ASAM.
Dr. Chudi Obijekwu , a psychotherapist is soon to clock 30 years' experience in the helping field of mental health / illness, and substance use/misuse/ disorder treatment or counseling. He is internship trained at Meharry Medical College / Hubbard Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee, and Boston School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. In his counseling work, he will seamlessly, and beautifully meet you where you are and assist you to unstuck yourself. He will listen to you, he will give you ample opportunity to state your own issue, and then walk by your side toward recovery and well being. He works with all populations: from age 7 and up and has predilection for working with multicultural persons.
