Christy is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland and Pennsylvania with telehealth credentials for West Virginia . She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Communication in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and her Masters of Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Integrated Mental and Behavioral Health in 2017 from West Virginia University. Christy has worked in primary care, public health and nonprofit organizations providing behavioral health services since 2014. Recently, Christy decided to return to the classroom and earned her Associates in Nursing from Allegany College of Maryland in 2023, Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Capella University in 2024 and is currently a student at University of Cincinnati in their Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Doctorate Nurse Practitioner Program. Christy hopes to graduate in Spring 2027 and plans to continue providing behavioral health services with the addition of medication management.
