About me
As a woman, I know how much we go through from puberty, hormonal shifts, motherhood, perimenopause, and all the spaces in between. These transitions aren’t just physical; they affect how we see ourselves, how we connect, and how we cope. I work with women from teen to adult, creating a space where you can process, heal, and grow through these seasons with compassion and clarity.
I’m Christy J. Manoharan, LPC, NCC, and I work with people navigating the often messy and meaningful parts of life. Whether that’s feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of what’s next. Therapy isn’t about having it all figured out; it’s about having a space to slow down, feel seen, and gain perspective. While I work with a wide range of individuals, my heart and specialty are in walking with teens as they step into adulthood, and with women navigating the many transitions that shape their lives.
Being a teen today isn’t easy. Many wrestle with the pressure to measure up, to be good enough, liked enough, successful enough… while feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, fear, or sadness they don’t always know how to explain. Insecurity can run deep, especially when comparison is constant and expectations feel heavy. On top of that, asking for help can be hard, especially when it feels like the adults in their lives might not fully understand what they’re going through. It’s not uncommon for teens to feel isolated, even when they’re surrounded by people. Therapy offers a space where they don’t have to have the right words, just a willingness to show up as they are.
For women, life often brings ongoing transitions that run deep. There’s so much pressure to be “superwoman” to succeed in a career, manage a household, raise kids, maintain relationships, stay beautiful, fit, and pulled-together—all while making it look effortless. Underneath that pressure, many women quietly carry stress, self-doubt, hormonal shifts, exhaustion, or unresolved trauma. It’s easy to lose track of who you are in the process. I work with women to gently sort through these layers, reconnect with their sense of self, and find freedom in redefining what strength truly means. My approach is rooted in compassion, trauma-informed care, and practical tools from CBT to help bring clarity and healing.
I’m also a Christian, and I believe our spiritual lives are a vital part of who we are. If faith is important to you, it can absolutely be woven into your therapeutic journey.
If you're ready to take a breath, feel supported, and see things from a new perspective. this space was made for you.
