About me
The central premise of therapy is that thoughts, feelings and intentions can determine what we do. Thus, in therapy it is important to look at how our conditioning has produced one’s behavior.
Three things must be taken into account in the study of behavior. The situation in which one’s behavior occurs, the behavior itself and the consequences that follow. The relationship among these three things can be very complex. So, it is very important that you choose a caring and trusting therapist to help you untangle them.
Psychotherapy has been shown to have many benefits. Therapy can lead to better relationships, solutions to specific problems and significant reductions in feelings of distress, sadness, shame, guilt, anger frustration, loneliness and helplessness.
I am committed to excellence by pledging to provide the highest quality of psychotherapy care possible. I provide a safe place for you to question and explore what is effective and what is not effective in your life. I discuss ways to make the changes necessary for you to accomplish a happier and more rewarding life. I am here to guide, educate, challenge and support you in your process. I use a variety of methods to help you on your journey in life. A few examples are:
Help you to learn how to focus on your strengths
Teach you ways in how to reduce your stress
Support you in learning how to relax
Help you to learn how to increase the awareness of your thoughts which affect your behavior and emotions.
Teach you how to make a connection between your body, mind and spirit.
Thus, therapy can give you an increased sense of overall wellness and wellbeing. Therapy, like life, is an opportunity for you to grow and develop into the person you hope to become. Each and every experience that you go through in your life provides you with the opportunity to learn about yourself.
