About me
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience helping teens (16+) and women reclaim their lives from anxiety, disordered eating, depression, and other mental health challenges—offering compassionate, collaborative, and effective care.
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
Many people come into therapy not knowing what to expect and that can be intimidating. I get it...I've been there. My aim is to make the process feel less overwhelming and more like a safe, collaborative space where you can breathe, explore, and figure things out at your own pace.
With me, you can bring your whole self—your challenges, questions, and hopes—and know you will be met with curiosity, compassion, and respect. Therapy isn’t about judgment or “fixing” anyone; it’s about helping you build insight, tools, and confidence so you can live a fuller, freer life. Even small steps in therapy can lead to big shifts over time. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to take control of your life.
With nearly 20 years of experience and a strong foundation in evidence-based care, I'll bring a versatile skill set to help you move forward. My eclectic approach draws from CBT, Person-Centered, Psychoanalytic, and other evidence-based techniques to meet you where you are. Whether we’re unpacking past experiences, building coping skills, or navigating life transitions, I balance practical strategies with empathy and support. Together, we’ll identify goals and approaches that help you feel more empowered, resilient, and connected to yourself.
My clients often describe me as empathetic, dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable…with a touch of dry humor and sarcasm when things feel a little extra heavy. I believe therapy should feel safe, human, and approachable—not stiff or clinical. I also deeply value the role therapy has played in my own life, and I bring that perspective into the room—meeting you where you are, honoring your identity and experiences, and holding space for your growth and complexity.
It’s my privilege to work with people of all genders, races, religions, and ethnicities, and I’m a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ and HAES communities.
If you want to learn more about how I can help, feel free to send me a message—I’d love to connect.
