About me
Hello!
I am grateful that you are here. The first step to developing a plan of emotional wellness, is making a conscious decision to getting started! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have been a Licensed Independent Social Worker for the past 16 years.
My clinical experience includes diagnosing, treating, and assisting individuals and families address psychosocial, emotional, behavioral and/or social challenges that affect their quality of life. Such challenges include trauma, family conflict, physical illness, substance-use disorders, and difficult life situations. I have specialized experience in readjustment counseling, with Veterans and individuals/families experiencing homelessness.
My approach to the therapy begins with establishing a therapeutic relationship. My practice is client-centered and solution-focused. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based strategies to guide the therapeutic process.
I look forward to working with you and being a partner in your self-care and emotional wellness.
