About me
I am an experienced therapist dedicated to helping adults recover from the various traumas life presents. I work with both individuals and couples. *Please note: small, hypoallergenic dogs will be present at the agency and in my therapy sessions.
My journey in the mental health field began with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Since 2008, I have been part of the Caring Counseling Ministries team, initially serving as a therapist until 2014, when I took on the additional role of executive director. My unique perspective as a Rape Crisis Counselor, along with my personal experience in addiction recovery, has shaped my approach to working with individuals and couples. I also have extensive expertise in childhood assault recovery, eating disorders, and addictions.
