About me
Professional Counselor and Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor through the Association for Play Therapy (APT), EMDR, Trauma and Neuroscience trained.
Christene Scott, LPC-S, RPT-S, believes therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than applying a one-dimensional, predetermined approach. With more than 20 years of clinical experience and specialized training in trauma and neuroscience-informed care, along with advanced training in EMDR and Play Therapy (certified), she draws on a diverse clinical toolkit that includes Gestalt therapy, Adlerian therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT to meet each client where they are and adapt her approach to fit their unique needs. Christene works with individuals navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, she brings both deep clinical expertise and a genuinely collaborative approach to every session, walking alongside clients. Christene Scott is EMDR-trained, Play therapy-trained and certified, SSP-trained and certified, and trauma and neuroscience-trained.
