About me
If you're successful on the outside but struggling on the inside, you're not alone. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning professionals who have spent years managing anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, or unhealthy patterns while continuing to meet the demands of work, family, and everyday life. They are ready for more than temporary relief—they're looking for meaningful, lasting change.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, I provide individualized, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults throughout Connecticut, Florida, and Texas. My approach is collaborative, direct, compassionate, and tailored to your unique goals. I believe therapy should not only increase insight but also provide practical skills that help you create lasting change.
My clinical expertise includes anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, and recovery from both substance use and behavioral addictions. I have specialized training in the treatment of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug disorders, as well as gambling, compulsive shopping, problematic internet use, pornography addiction, and other compulsive behaviors.
One of my professional passions is helping individuals recover from narcissistic relationships and emotional abuse. Whether you're trying to understand confusing relationship patterns, rebuild your self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries, or heal from manipulation and gaslighting, I provide a safe, supportive environment where recovery and personal growth are possible.
My therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Art Therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based interventions to meet each client's individual needs. I have extensive experience helping people who experience intense emotions, long-standing interpersonal difficulties, or recurring patterns that have been difficult to change.
I work best with motivated adults who are willing to actively participate in the therapeutic process. Together, we'll identify obstacles, build effective coping skills, and create a practical plan that supports your goals and helps you move toward a healthier, more balanced life.
If you're looking for an experienced therapist who will challenge, support, and partner with you throughout your journey, I would be honored to help.
