About me
I am an experienced clinical social worker, dedicated to helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, body image, self-harm, and other life challenges, gain the skills and understanding to manage their challenges and "live a life worth living".
I am Certified Social Worker and received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in social work, both from the University of Utah. I currently work with adults and older adolescents (16 yrs+). I worked for a number of years with children in the foster care system, adolescents in residential treatment, and have been working in outpatient therapy now for several years. I specializes in working with depression, anxiety, faith/religious transition, self-harm, coping skills, body and self-esteem issues, and trauma. I believe strongly that clients are the experts of their own life's and successes, and as their therapist, I am there to be a guide and support throughout their process. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, TF-CBT/ trauma narrative, and intuitive eating as a framework for therapy with clients.
In her free time, I like to spend time with family and friends hiking, taking road trips, eating delicious food, and above all, love spending time with my devious little french bulldog, Champ.
