About me
I want every one of my clients to feel truly heard, respected, and valued. I care deeply about the people I work with and believe in taking a team approach—working together to identify and address personal struggles, insecurities, grief, and trauma in a safe and nonjudgmental space. My goal is to equip you with practical and effective tools to overcome challenges and move toward healing.
Chawnda is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 10 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient, outpatient, forensic, geriatric, and adolescent care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Northern Kentucky University.
Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Chawnda approaches psychiatry with the goal of promoting mental wellness—not just treating mental illness. She’s dedicated to supporting each person’s journey toward balance, healing, and a better quality of life.
