About me
Become empowered as your confident, ambitious self. Develop self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and better relationships. Get back in alignment with who you know you are.
Finding yourself always running on empty? Bending every which way to meet everyone’s expectations of you? What if there was a way to quiet your inner critic, to prioritize your own needs without apology, and to let go of the self-doubt, guilt and shame that is holding you back? Life doesn’t look the way you expected it to. After you give your all in everything that you do, something is keeping you from feeling connected, empowered and fulfilled. Maybe you’ve experienced a loss or significant life transition. Or maybe, the cycle of negative self-talk and struggles is finally wearing you down. Now, you’re ready to dig into the thoughts and beliefs holding you back.
I’m Charlie, and I can help. I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, ASW 113303 working under the Supervision of Tamar Colen, LCSW, 22944.
As a Psychotherapist, Executive Therapist & Coach, EMDR trauma specialist, veteran, husband and father residing in the LA Southbay, I help clients get through complex challenges.
Whether it be a career change, a relationship issue, past trauma, loss of a loved one, or parenting challenge in a complex or ambitious environment, I set you up to transition through these challenges so you can arrive at where you want to be.
I’ll help you understand the connection between how your past is showing up in your present to get that stuff out so you can start living on your terms.
Together, we’ll unpack the heavy load you’ve been carrying alone for too long. We’ll connect with your resilience and find practical ways to grow your sense of self and future in a way that fits you.
We’ll make friends with those big emotions and parts that you’ve hidden away or don’t much like. And, We’ll process the painful experiences, beliefs and traumas holding you back from living the life you really want.
You’re going to walk away from therapy feeling lighter, as if a longstanding weight has been lifted from your mind. You’ll no longer be stuck on an emotional rollercoaster headed to an unknown place. You will know where you are going, where you have been and what future awaits you.
You’ll discover how to feel better about yourself, your career choices and your relationships. And most of all, you’ll have confidence that you too can bounce back from whatever life throws at you!
