About me
I am a trained, experienced psychologist and licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of clinical experience. My doctorate (PhD) degrees are in both Social Work and Psychology and I have practiced in multiple forums and settings including the public and private sectors. Clinically, I have successfully worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders/addictions, trauma/abuse, identity and relationship issues.
My counseling style is optimistic, accepting, nonjudgmental and interactive. I believe in treating all who seek assistance with respect, affirmation, sensitivity, and understanding. While I am primarily trained using a cognitive-behavioral approach in practice, I am familiar with and can encompass multiple other therapeutic approaches as well. My approach depends on the matter of concerns presented. I have learned overtime how to tailor dialogue and treatment plans to meet the unique and specific needs of the one in care.
Please know I am here to support and assist you in achieving goal-oriented and holistic improvement.
I look forward to working with you!
