About me
I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor who is focused on helping individuals that are facing various mental health and substance use issues however are seeking a more fulfilling and happier life.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her practice. However, I utilize an integrative approach to meet her clients where their needs are. I also assist clients in developing coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, and anger management. I help clients to work towards targeted change while understanding the emotional and physical responses to their stressors.
In your first session with Chandra, you will explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, Chandra assists you by looking at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences. During treatment, Chandra will help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. Chandra creates an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
