About me
Life presents us with inevitable stressors and obstacles in various forms. The view which we take in interpreting, finding meaning in, and coping with these experiences can be the difference between resiliency and suffering. Let's talk through it. The counseling process may illuminate how to effectively manage the stressor or skillfully overcome the obstacle. It takes courage to change and seek out a more fulfilling life. I am here to support you and highlight your strengths.
I provide Humanistic Therapy. The direction of therapy is empowered by your needs and goals. I'm glad to offer short-term solution-focused counseling or longer-term "deep dives" into your personal human experience. As a mental health counselor, my goal is to offer you an authentic, respectful, compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere so that you can grow in the way that you want to and find the answers you seek.
I also provide couples counseling within the Sound Relationship House model. If you'd like to improve trust and commitment, and learn to understand your partner better, I'm glad to work with you both.
I am a License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York with 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, anger management along with conditions of emotional dysregulation.
