About me
I support individuals recovering from trauma, relationship abuse, and life transitions through EMDR and compassionate guidance.
I believe healing is possible, even after deep pain, disconnection, or loss. My work centers on helping individuals who have experienced relationship abuse, trauma, or major life transitions find a renewed sense of safety, confidence, and peace within themselves.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize that healing doesn’t happen through pressure or perfectionism. It happens when we feel safe enough to explore what has been too heavy to carry alone. In our sessions, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can begin to reconnect with your inner strength and rediscover what it feels like to trust yourself again.
Much of my work focuses on supporting survivors of emotional, psychological, and relational abuse, including those who may still be disentangling from confusing or painful dynamics. Together, we will work to understand the patterns that have shaped your experiences and help you reconnect to your voice, your body, and your sense of possibility.
I also support clients navigating major life transitions, whether that is an ending, a new beginning, or the uncertain in-between. Change can feel destabilizing, even when it is ultimately for the better. Through therapy, we can explore both the grief and the growth that come with transformation, helping you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I often integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into my work. EMDR helps the brain process distressing memories in a more adaptive way, allowing emotional healing to occur faster and more deeply than with talk therapy alone. Many clients find that EMDR helps them move beyond knowing their story to truly feeling free from its hold.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I meet you exactly where you are and tailor our work to your unique needs, goals, and pace. Whether we are focusing on reducing anxiety, improving relationships, or rebuilding a sense of self-worth, our work together will always honor your autonomy and your strengths.
Clients often describe me as empathetic, direct, and nonjudgmental. I view therapy as a partnership. You bring your insight and resilience, and I bring guidance, tools, and a grounded presence to help you navigate what comes next. My goal is not only to help you heal from the past but to help you create a life that feels aligned, empowered, and fulfilling.
Healing from trauma is not about erasing the past. It is about reclaiming your power and reconnecting to who you truly are. Whether you are just beginning your journey or continuing work you have already started, I would be honored to support you as you move toward deeper self-trust, balance, and peace.
