About me

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, trauma therapist, and clinical mentor passionate about helping people heal, grow, and thrive — not just survive. Whether you're navigating life transitions, burnout, or identity shifts, I provide culturally rooted, trauma-informed care that’s real, reflective, and radically supportive.

From deep inner work to strategic next steps, I help you pause, process, and plan — so you can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and peace. I'm currently offering virtual sessions for clients across North Dakota.

Hey, I’m Casandra — a licensed clinical social worker, trauma therapist, and the founder of Blossoming Hope Counseling & Consulting. I’m not just here to help you cope — I’m here to walk with you through the hard stuff, hold space for your healing, and remind you that you are allowed to reclaim your story.

My approach is warm, honest, and rooted in deep cultural awareness. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, or just feeling stuck — I create a space where you don’t have to perform, shrink, or over-explain. Just show up as you are.

I specialize in trauma recovery, identity work, and helping high-functioning folks slow down, reconnect, and breathe. Sessions often include real talk, reflection, laughter, and sometimes a playlist or journal prompt to take with you. I also work with clinicians who are doing their own inner work or craving support beyond what grad school gave them.

I’m currently offering virtual therapy to clients across North Dakota — so if you’re ready to pause, process, and plan your next chapter, I’d be honored to walk with you.
As a Certified Trauma Professional, I've actively showcased this dedication in my clinical practice. While working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, I recognized that trauma often served as the root cause of their challenges, and traditional talk therapy didn't always produce the desired outcomes. By integrating therapeutic modalities such as Brainspotting (BSP), EMDR, IFS, and Trauma-Focused CBT into my repertoire, I've significantly enhanced the healing process for my clients.

Beyond my clinical work, I also serve as a workshop facilitator for the American Red Cross Services to Armed Forces program, further expanding my reach in assisting individuals facing unique challenges in the military community.

Additionally, my roles as the National Community Service Coordinator for Alpha Chi Epsilon Sigma Social Work Sorority and as an adjunct professor teaching master-level social work students have heightened my ability to advocate for and educate others on critical mental health issues, societal social justice concerns, the empowerment of women and children, and the unique challenges faced by military service members and their families. In these positions, I have empowered individuals to unite their voices to bring about meaningful change.

My unwavering passion for social justice, particularly in advocating for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, fuels my tireless efforts to create lasting and sustainable change in our society.
