About me
You did the hard work to get sober. So why does life still feel unmanageable?
Achieving sobriety is an incredible milestone, but staying sober and truly healing are two entirely different journeys. True long-term recovery requires unpacking the deeper emotional foundations—the relational patterns, hidden anxieties, and systemic trauma—that substance use used to cover up.
As a specialized out-of-network therapist with over 12 years of clinical experience in Boston, I don't provide generic coping mechanisms. I partner with adults who have built their sober foundation and are ready to invest in the deep, uninterrupted psychological work necessary to thrive in the next stage of life.
If you are ready to move past just "getting by" and want to explore the deeper, long-term maintenance of your recovery, please reach out for an initial consultation. I provide individual telehealth therapy for adults throughout Massachusetts and am currently accepting new clients.
I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and have worked with diverse populations throughout my career, including LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. My experience includes substance use, relapse prevention, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and navigating the pressures and expectations society places on us.
I work from an ecological perspective, which means I believe our experiences are shaped not only by our individual choices and circumstances, but also by our relationships, communities, cultures, and larger social systems. Understanding those influences can be an important part of healing and growth.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Past clients have described me as kind, honest and firm when needed, with a sense of humor when appropriate. I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in genuine human connection, and my goal is to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and empowered to continue building the life you want for yourself. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
