About me
I am an associate counselor dedicated to helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, relational issues, attachment wounds, complex PTSD, grief, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
What I value most with my clients is building genuine and strong relationships where you can feel safe and seen. Together, we will create a space where you can show up authentically and express yourself freely. As your counselor, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, live more aligned with your ideal self and values, and help you meet whatever goals you have for therapy. Therapy can feel daunting, but I’m happy to do it with you!
I have studied a wide range of counseling techniques and interventions, but I believe in the individuality of counseling. Everyone’s lived experiences are different, so everyone’s therapy process is going to look different. That said, I operate from a client-centered and trauma-informed perspective, and tend to focus on the relational aspects of our work. I tend to incorporate attachment-based and strengths-based interventions, promoting healing and resilience. I have experience working with individuals in treatment for substance use disorders, and I am also certified in Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) and in treatment of Complex PTSD.
In my free time, I enjoy bad reality TV, exploring new restaurants, trying new workout classes, and traveling!
