About me
I look forward to supporting you in your journey, no matter the valleys or mountains encountered, and have been humbled to work with highly diverse populations. While I have experience counseling individuals of all ages, I specialize in treating adolescents and adults in individual, couple, or parent-child formats.
Thank you for taking time to read about me and consider if I may be able to support you in sorting things out.
Things can sometimes be very challenging to manage, much less overcome on your own, and I appreciate the opportunity to offer a space where you feel heard and listened to, seen and cared for, and above all, safe and respected for who you are, what you think, and how you feel. What you think and how you feel can fluctuate, and therapy is a space where we can spend time processing your experiences and how they've contributed to your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a space where we can reflect on how the status quo is serving you well, and if not, what adjustments could be made such that your best self can shine.
As a therapist, I have a gentle, warm and non-judgmental demeanor, and my priority is always your sense of wellness and safety. I am a person-centered therapist, which means that I customize my clinical approach to what works best for your needs and style. I rely on an eclectic range of interventions, many of which are commonly used amongst therapists (such as, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy). In addition to these and other modalities, I specialize in trauma-informed therapy (including EMDR) and financial therapy. Ultimately, as a person-centered therapist, I invite the two of us to collaborate on your path toward healing and deeply respect your comfort level and readiness to explore what has brought you here today.
I hope this information has been helpful. Take good care, and please feel free to reach out should you have questions or concerns I can help address.
