About me

I am a trauma-informed therapist helping adults heal anxiety, relationship patterns, and life transitions.

Hi, I’m Caroline Ciesko, the founder of Pebble & Pine Therapy PLLC. I work with adults—often moms—who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, grief, or a life transition that’s changed how they feel in their body, their relationships, or their sense of self.

Many of the people who reach out to me are high-functioning on the outside, but inside they feel tense, reactive, stuck in overthinking, or disconnected from who they want to be. Others notice patterns showing up in relationships—people-pleasing, shutting down, fear of conflict, feeling “too much,” or struggling to set boundaries without guilt. Therapy can be a place to slow everything down, make sense of what’s happening, and build steadier ways of coping and connecting.

My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I’ll meet you with respect and curiosity, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe. Together we’ll work to understand the roots of what you’re experiencing (including attachment patterns and old wounds), while also focusing on skills you can use right away—so you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control of how you respond.

I integrate approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, parts work (informed by Internal Family Systems), and trauma-informed care. When appropriate, I also offer EMDR to help reduce the emotional intensity of stuck memories and triggers and support deeper healing. My goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you feel more connected to yourself, clearer about what you need, and better able to live in alignment with your values.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is steady, compassionate, and thoughtful—and who will help you both understand yourself and take meaningful steps forward—I’d be honored to support you. I offer a brief consultation so we can talk about what you’re hoping for and see if working together feels like a good fit.
