About me
I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social worker who is dedicated to helping people maintain their peace of mind. Whether you are in constant conflict with family or your mate, having challenges at work or with a child, just adopted a child or are a foster parent who needs additional support, are having relationship or financial problems that increases your anxiety and stress levels-making it more difficult to function, I would like to partner with you to help you meet the goals that you would like to achieve.
My therapeutic approach is integrative drawing from Gestalt, Humanistic, Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Level 3 trained, Interpersonal, and Systems Theory. Of utmost importance to me is to meet you where you are to determine which treatment modality fits best for your specific needs. My belief is that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. In every work environment that I have worked from schools, to governmental agencies, to psychiatric hospital settings, to private practice, I make a conscience effort to show not only compassion and warmth, but also a respect and genuine rapport with my clientele. Throughout the years, I have learned that it is not enough to simply treat people the way that you would want to be treated, but to treat them the way that they want to be treated as well.
