About me
I work with clients to deepen self-understanding and clarify what matters most to them so they can make choices that feel honest, intentional, and self-honoring. My approach supports individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and trauma, with a particular focus on women and members of the queer community. I aim to help clients build self-reliance and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges, creating space for growth, meaning, and alignment with their values.
I believe that inside of everyone is a fire; a source of resilience that is sparked by the authentic self, the version of you that reigns true and unfeigned. To embody this self, it takes work, commitment, and determination. The reward for your effort is profound. To exist in this world being authentically you is a gift and a source of strength that can help you to reach your unique potential, find a sense of internal harmony, and cultivate a genuine self-compassion for all that makes you, YOU.
My goal as your therapist is to empower and support you in discovering your authentic self. Together, we can courageously prevail over the obstacles that stand in the way of your personal freedom, facilitate growth in areas you wish to make changes in, and unlock unwavering authenticity in your life. As your therapist, I will focus on harnessing your resolve by providing a space that is imbued with compassion, while empathetically challenging you to embody the essence of your true self.
You have already taken the first step on the path to change by being on this page, and I
commend you for that! This path is the one less traveled, and it can be difficult, confusing, and
even grueling at times. But on this path is where you discover who you really are. I will be by
your side, helping you embrace discomfort and empowering your will to thrive.
A little about me: I completed my undergraduate work in psychology from Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon where I recently moved from a little over four years ago. I recently completed my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Aquinas College.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures like skydiving, cliff jumping, whitewater rafting, hiking, kayaking, and exploring all that nature has to offer with my partner and my pooches Louis and Wren. I also love to read and write, so you may find me indulging in a book or writing short stories to feed the creative side of my soul.
