I tailor treatment to your needs and responsivity. We can explore problem solving, coping and mobilizing resources within you to heal or overcome barriers to have a more fulfilling life. I will listen carefully and respond with suggestions that fit your situation and thinking.
Effective therapy develops goals for change. Treatment also supports establishing new ways of experiencing life, behaviors and relationships. My private practice emphasizes making change through openness and trust, and building a personal plan that suits your unique life circumstance. There is no prescription for the length of therapy; some changes can occur with a few sessions and others may taken longer. Having realistic goals can help define when therapy is completed.
I recently added Tayah Jackson, LMHC-P to the practice. We do co-therapy and she sees individuals and groups with my supervision.
