About me
Taking a few new clients who are truly a great fit for my expertise and experience. I provide in-person or telehealth sessions to Connecticut clients and telehealth sessions to Vermont and South Carolina!
I am proud to say that I've owned and operated my group psychotherapy practice for more than 20 years. I have been Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in CT for more than 25 years.
I am also a Certified Imago Couples therapist, which means I have a signficant amount only additional Couples Therapy training beyond my Licensure.
I focus on obtaining continual additional training in trauma, anxiety, adoption/foster/kinship families, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, cultural competency.
Even more importantly than my training, I rely heavily on fostering a warm, inviting atmosphere and a truly connected relationship with my clients. The answers to my clients wlquestins and concerns are within them, and fostering safety helps them find the solutions.
Rest assured, I provide tips, strategies,coping strategies, and recommendations along the way!
I tend to work best with individual adults and couples, although I have also assisted older teens in their later high-school years and their launch off to college. My areas of interest and expertise are anxiety, trauma, depressive issues, grief, loss and estate issues, high achievement issues/fears, financial stress, infidelity, intimacy, and infertility issues, relationship and family issues.
