About me
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma, anxiety, and depression in adults, helping them find relief and feel like themselves again.
You’re probably here because something feels heavy. Maybe your anxiety feels constant, your sleep is off, or you can’t seem to shake a sadness, grief, or sense of being on edge. You might be functioning on the outside while quietly unraveling inside. If that sounds familiar, you’re not weak — and you’re not alone.
Most people come to therapy because they want relief. They want their nervous system to settle, their thoughts to slow down, their emotions to feel less overwhelming. I became a therapist because I’ve seen how trauma, anxiety, and depression slowly pull people away from themselves — and how powerful it is when those symptoms finally begin to soften.
My work focuses on helping you feel safe enough to come back to yourself at your own pace, without shame or pressure. I use polyvagal-informed care and IFS to support healing that happens not just in your thoughts, but in your body, your relationships, and your ability to feel present in your life. The goal is not just insight — it’s real, livable change.
I’ve worked in both community mental health and private practice, and what I’ve learned is this: people don’t need to be judged or pushed. They need a space where they feel seen and steady enough to start letting their guard down. In my virtual practice, Restoring Serenity: A Heart’s Refuge, I offer therapy by video or by phone, depending on what best supports your nervous system. I’m especially skilled at creating depth, safety, and attunement through phone sessions when being on camera feels like too much. At this time, phone sessions are available on a sliding scale self-pay basis.
Therapy with me is collaborative, gentle, and paced around what feels safe for you. We’ll start by understanding what’s bringing you here and how stress has been affecting your daily life, then work toward more emotional steadiness, better regulation, and a stronger sense of self over time. I work best with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression who want their symptoms to ease and are open to deeper healing as that happens.
I continue advanced training in trauma and body-based work, including polyvagal-informed therapy and IFS, because I believe your healing deserves care that is not just effective, but deeply human.
