CANDICE LEFFINGWELL, DR

I am an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, who is dedicated in helping couples work through communication issues and everyday stressful situations that arise throughout the stages of being a couple.

Greetings, my name is Dr. Candice Star Leffingwell, I am a 20-year military veteran who has lived and worked all around the world. I earned my BA in Psychology at Columbia University and then went on to earn my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and my EdD in Traumatology. I am Level II Gottman Method trained. I also hold certifications in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), Art for Healing, Suicide Prevention Training, PAIRS Level II (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills), Everything DiSC, and 4 Lenses.

I have worked with individuals and couples all around the world and strive to provide an environment where every individual feels loved, valued, and safe to share anything that is on their heart or mind that is holding them back from being their optimal self. My partner and I started our own company at Resilient Minds Counseling (RMC), Inc and we offer group and individual therapy sessions and workshops for a variety of issues and needs. I specialize in marriage counseling, family therapy, sex therapy, mental health services, and life coaching.

We believe that every person has a unique experience and belief system, and that it is important to provide a nonjudgemental space to be able to share without fear or judgment what you are dealing with or going through.
