Hi, I'm Candice Herrera, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and the lasting effects of generational trauma. I believe lasting healing begins when we understand the stories that shaped us, release the burdens we were never meant to carry, and begin living from a place of peace instead of survival. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the roots of your struggles, heal old wounds, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. Therapy with me feels like a conversation, not an interrogation. You'll be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect every step of the way. I don't believe healing is about becoming perfect or pretending life is easy. It's about breaking cycles that no longer serve you, reconnecting with the person you were created to be, and building a life that reflects your values instead of your survival.
