I am a sex positive couples and sex therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate relationships, intimacy and the real stuff nobody else wants to talk about.

Relationships are hard. Sex is complicated. And most couples are navigating both without anyone safe to talk to.


I am Candace, a sex positive couples and sex therapist practicing at Aspire Counseling Services in Layton, Utah. I specialize in helping couples and individuals navigate the real stuff. Communication breakdown, intimacy and desire differences, infidelity, trust repair, premarital counseling, divorce discernment, infertility and pregnancy loss. Some clients come in crisis. Some just want more. Either way nothing is off limits here and nobody is too much.


I did not take a straight line to therapy. I took the one that made me better at it. Corporate life, leading global teams in tech, military spouse, infertility, parenting a neurodiverse kid. Every chapter gave me something I bring into the room now. I am currently completing my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy specializing in couples and hold an MBA and BA in Communication Studies. Real world experience meets clinical focus.


My approach starts with your story. I lead with solution-focused, narrative and mindfulness based approaches, layering in Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples when it fits. Sessions feel like real conversations not lectures. We find what works and we move.


You do not have to have it figured out before you reach out. Most people do not. The hard part was everything that brought you here. You have already done that.
