About me
Caitlin is a LPC, as well as a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) with years of experience in addiction recovery and dual-diagnosis. As well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy certification. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It is a true passion of hers to create a safe and accepting space for people to feel and process what is keeping them trapped in patterns and cycles they want to escape. Working together with clients, she hopes to help them develop healthy coping skills to make positive choices for themselves and their healing and recovery.
As a counselor, Caitlin has worked in an acute inpatient center, treating addiction with co-occurring disorders, and has extensive experience with the 12-step model of recovery. And as a lead therapist in a substance abuse intensive outpatient program. She has facilitated both group and individual counseling with a trauma-informed approach. Utilizing techniques borrowed from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), she treats clients from a holistic, client-centered perspective. She believes everyone has a unique life experience–physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. With that in mind, she provides each client with an individualized approach to healing to address their unique needs.
*Currently training to become a Level I and II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
