About me

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a passion for helping people find healing beyond simply learning how to cope.

Sometimes we recognize that something isn't working in our lives, but understanding why or knowing how to change it is another story. You might find yourself repeating the same patterns, feeling overwhelmed by emotions, struggling in relationships, or carrying experiences from your past that continue to affect you today. Even when you understand what's happening intellectually, that awareness doesn't always translate into change.

My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a therapeutic model that helps us explore what's happening beneath the surface. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties with self-worth, relationships, and emotional well-being. Together, we'll explore not only what you're experiencing, but why. We'll begin making connections between your present struggles and the experiences that shaped you, while working directly with the emotions and beliefs that have been difficult to move beyond.

I believe meaningful healing involves more than talking about our experiences or learning new ways to manage them. That's why my work is experiential, meaning I actively guide you in exploring your inner world rather than leaving you to figure everything out on your own. I bring training, clinical knowledge, and intention to our sessions, while respecting that you're the expert on your own experience. We work together to understand what needs attention and how to approach it.

As a Cherokee Nation citizen, I value connection, respect, and seeing people as whole human beings. These values influence how I practice therapy. I'm not interested in telling you who you should be or treating you as a collection of symptoms. I'm interested in getting to know you, understanding your experiences, and helping you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

I take this work seriously, but that doesn't mean therapy has to feel clinical or intimidating. There's room for laughter, uncertainty, difficult conversations, and everything in between. You don't have to have the right words, know where to begin, or hide the things you're struggling with.

My hope is that our work helps you experience more than temporary relief. I want to help you understand yourself in ways that create opportunities for genuine, lasting change.
