About me
Helping adults move through anxiety, grief, fear, and PTSD — with warmth, depth, and direction. Rooted in the body and grounding in real change.
My path to this work began through a long inquiry into consciousness, suffering, and what it means to live well — drawing from Eastern and Western philosophy and eventually landing in therapy as the place where that searching could become genuinely useful to others. That foundation shapes much about how I work.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in Somatic Experiencing, and experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, and I also teach undergraduate psychology classes. What I offer is a distinctive blend: neuroscience-informed conversation, deep somatic work tied to language, meaning making and narrative, and a real attunement to what often goes unseen or unvalidated in a person's experience and might be more powerful than we realize. I'm skilled at tracking internal complexity, making sense of confusion, and helping clients move — not just understand, but actually shift.
Sessions are warm and curious, and direct when that's what's needed. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I'm equally committed to making sure our time together is structured and moving toward something real and tangible.
I work best with motivated, self-aware adults — often those with an intellectual or creative sensibility — who are feeling alienated, stuck, or cut off from their own agency. If you're navigating a life transition, wrestling with questions of meaning and value, or carrying something that's hard to name, this work can meet you there. I'm comfortable going as deep and as far as you're willing to go — and the work tends to produce real change: not just insight, but a genuine shift in your relationship to yourself and your experience, new perspectives, and a sense of agency that may have felt out of reach for a long time.
