About me
I help children, teens, and adults understand what is driving anxiety, trauma responses, overwhelming emotions, and high-risk behaviors and build practical ways to feel safer, more connected, and more in control.
You may be holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed underneath. Or you may be a parent watching your child struggle, unsure how to help when emotions escalate and behavior becomes unsafe. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what needs to change before reaching out.
My approach is warm, direct, and curious. I want to understand what is happening, what you have already tried, and what keeps getting in the way. We’ll look at the patterns behind your reactions, including how past experiences, relationships, and your environment affect you. From there, we’ll build strategies you can use in everyday life.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, ADHD-related challenges, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My background includes high-acuity adolescent residential treatment, where I supported young people and families navigating self-harm, suicidal thoughts, aggression, and other high-risk behaviors. In outpatient therapy, we assess your current needs together and identify the support and level of care that fit your situation.
When working with children and teens, I make room for their perspective while helping caregivers understand patterns, strengthen connection, and respond more effectively to distress. With adults, our work may include understanding recurring relationship patterns, setting boundaries, managing overwhelming emotions, or finding direction during a difficult transition.
You can expect thoughtful questions, honest conversations, practical feedback, and room for humor. Your goals guide our work, and we’ll pay attention to whether therapy is helping outside the session.
