About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in work with children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and relational stress. I have a particular passion for supporting gifted and twice-exceptional youth, as well as families navigating neurodiversity and complex developmental needs.
My clinical approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems theory. I emphasize collaboration with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care. I aim to create a supportive and structured therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for long-term emotional wellness.
I believe therapy works best when children and families feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. My passion is helping kids, teens, and families navigate anxiety, big emotions, social challenges, and the impact of trauma in a way that feels safe, collaborative, and hopeful.
I especially enjoy working with gifted and twice-exceptional children and those who may feel misunderstood or overwhelmed by the world around them. These children often carry both incredible strengths and unique challenges, and my goal is to help them build confidence, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills while honoring who they are.
My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and practical. I integrate play therapy, evidence-based techniques, and family systems work to help children express themselves, regulate emotions, and develop tools they can use at home and school. I believe healing happens not only in the therapy room but through strong partnerships with parents and caregivers.
Parents often share that they appreciate having a therapist who communicates clearly, offers guidance without judgment, and truly walks alongside their family through difficult seasons. I strive to create a space where children feel safe to be themselves and families feel empowered to grow together.
Whether your family is facing anxiety, grief, behavioral concerns, school stress, or life transitions, I am honored to support you in building resilience, connection, and lasting emotional wellness.
