About me
Are you constantly showing up for everyone else while quietly feeling disconnected from yourself?
Maybe motherhood, relationships, work, or life transitions have left you asking, “Who am I now?”
You’re managing responsibilities, caring for everyone around you, and trying to hold it all together, but somewhere along the way, you’ve lost touch with yourself.
I’m Brittanie Wooten, MS, NCC, LPC, a licensed professional counselor specializing in care for Black Women, Mothers, and individuals navigating identity shifts, hidden grief, emotional overwhelm, and the weight of being everything for everyone.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to be strong all the time.
You don’t have to have the right words, know where to start, or pretend you’re okay when you’re not.
Together, we’ll unpack what you’ve been carrying, strengthen your emotional regulation skills, and work toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself again.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and nervous-system-focused care.
I believe healing is about more than managing symptoms; it’s also about understanding yourself, recognizing your needs, setting boundaries, and making room for the person you are becoming.
Whether you’re navigating motherhood, a major life transition, relationship challenges, anxiety, or the feeling that you’ve lost pieces of yourself along the way, **you deserve a space where you get to be cared for, too.
You don’t have to wait until you’re burned out or everything falls apart to ask for support.
You deserve support, too. Let’s start where you are.
