Bridget Suire, LCSW

Greetings, My name is Bridget Suire. I am a licensed clinical social worker. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients, including the LGBTQ+ community. I also want to welcome senior citizens. Together we will explore the choices that you can make to live your best life. You are the driver, and I am the navigator. We work together to improve your mental wellness and address anxiety, depression, and trauma. What happened to you and what is needed for you to feel better? We will also explore the body/mind connection. My approach is client centered, strength based, and a cognitive behavioral approach.

Thoughts and feelings are connected. Usually feelings are triggered because someone has crossed your boundaries, which can bring up stories that you tell yourself, such as “I am not enough”, “I must have done something wrong,” or“people always/never do this.” In therapy, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and stories, so you can make healthier choices.
Change is stressful. People come to therapy because they want something or someone in their lives to change. The only power that we have is to change ourselves. Sometimes people come to therapy because they want to grow and learn how to cope with anxiety, depression, or grief. We will explore tools and skills that the client can choose and use for change.
